Akka Nasi Lemak has garnered consistent praise for its flavorful and well-prepared Malaysian dishes, particularly the nasi lemak with its fragrant, fluffy rice and a variety of fresh, high-quality accompaniments such as juicy fried chicken, large prawns, and fresh kerang. Customers appreciate the option to choose between spicy and less spicy sambal, both noted for their authentic taste. The portion sizes are generally considered generous, providing good value despite a slightly higher price point. Service is frequently described as friendly and efficient, with staff attentive in explaining menu options. While the kiosk setting limits dining to takeaway or informal car seating, patrons find the waiting times reasonable even during busy periods. The variety of available add-ons is somewhat limited but sufficient to satisfy a range of preferences. Overall, Akka Nasi Lemak is recognized for delivering a satisfying, flavorful experience within a casual and welcoming environment.

Very nice, nasi lemak fried chicken was very juicy and crunchy, even the cucumbers are juicy. Kerang was fresh. They have option of spicy or less spicy sambal. Akka was friendly and nice. Abit pricey but portion was big. No seating for dine in. I had eat in my car.

Absolutely amazing nasi lemak! This is seriously one of the best I've ever tasted. I went on a weekday and only waited about 10 minutes. The akka was super helpful, explaining all the menu options. I got the nasi lemak with udang sambal and fried chicken for just RM12.00, and it was incredible. The prawns were huge, and the fried chicken was bigger than my palm. Can't wait to go back!

Since it was a holiday...Malaysia Day, we decided to try the much talk about nasi lemak. About 20km away with holiday traffic we reached there in good time. Parking was ample and the queue wasn't bad, expected worst...only about 12 people ahead. Then we saw the super lady inaction, moving fast serving customers with a smile. After an hour it was our turn. We ordered 1. 2packets of pandan nasi lemak 3.8 not lemak enough for me. 2. Sotong sambal 2 the Sotong was not prepared properly...the mouth still attached. 3. Mutton rendang was good 3.8 would have given 4.5 if it wasn't for the small pieces of bone splinter in the gravy. 4. Chicken mask merah was cooked well but abit sweet for us 3.5 5. Chicken rendang have a good flavour only abit salty. 6. Fried chicken just normal not like the one in PJ Uptown. Overall good experience, will we go back. Yes....if only we're in the area. We like the Mutton, hopefully no more small splinters. What we noticed 1. The Food displayed with NO protection, customers ordering close to the food. 2. Customers can choose their own choice of chicken, alot of hands going into the pot...NO doubt they are using kitchen tongs. Solution recommend, put glass/plastic frame. Customers can see but cannot touch

Tried the the very popular nasi lemak for the first time. I would rate this nasi lemak as well made for a stall nasi lemak. The rice was fragrant, individual grains and did not stick or clump together. There's two types of sambal, both of which are tasty and not the sweet kind. Very reasonably priced at RM3 for one normal bungkus and then there's plenty of dishes to add on. Rendang and kerang(cocles) was the best for me. I went about 8am on a Sunday morning and there wasn't much of crowd and then continued flow of customer which I liked because I don't want to be waiting too long for any food.

No ridiculous queue at 11AM on a Friday. Not many varieties of add-ons though. They had fried chicken (recommended), curry chicken (thick gravy), soy sauce chicken, sambal prawns (large), and stir-fried anchovies. The portion of rice is large. Nasi lemak with hard-boiled egg and a piece of fried chicken is RM7. Sambal comes in spicy and less-spicy version. The latter is already pretty hot in my opinion.

I don't know about low ratings given by others and don't be biased by it. Try it yourself to decide. Bought 3 bungkus with quail's egg, ayam masak merah with hot sambal. All I can say is, the portion is generous coupled with good taste and good quality fragrant rice. Akka is friendly and attentive. Price is very reasonable, I would say. As for the quality food they offer,I have no complaints. Support and fill your belly with good food.

The best Nasi lemak with Indian twist Akka had many varieties of dishes to go with Nasi lemak. I will recommend the food and the best one. She was amazing person and just calm her to order the food and you may drive and collect the food easily. Thanks Akka for the best meal in town.

Nice friendly boss, nasi lemak is nice, sambal on the spicier side even though I ask for mix spicy and non spicy. The chicken is lovely. I will be back, but this time, I probably go for their ayam berempah and without their gravy to get a better taste on their sambal
